Background and Experience
Prior to joining the Long Beach City Attorney's office, Ms. Green served as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army. While on active duty, Ms. Green served in the areas of legal assistance, tax law, special victims, operational law and administrative law. Ms. Green deployed twice to Iraq with the 1st Infantry Division in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, during which she advised generals on the rules of engagement for airstrikes conducted against ISIS.
Ms. Green received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Diego State University in 2009 and her Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2012.
