On Wednesday, February 18, 2009, at 6:30 p.m., the Long Beach Police Department will be hosting their monthly Crime Prevention Meeting with guest speakers Police Chief Anthony W. Batts and his command staff.
Chief Batts will be providing an update on current crime trends, the future direction of the Long Beach Police Department, and volunteer opportunities for the community to get involved and help lower crime in our city. The meeting is open to the community and an information table will be available to offer information on various crime prevention topics including the Neighborhood Watch program.
