|Fifth District Councilwoman Gerrie Schipske today announced she is holding a meeting for the community on Wednesday, June 10th at DeMille Middle School to discuss the status of Long Beach Unified School District's plans to convert the middle school into a vocational high school.|
"I haven’t head back from the school district since our community meeting last December," states Schipske. “My constituents continue to have a number of questions concerning the proposed project including how it can be stopped.”
Schipske has invited Superintendent of Schools, Chris Steinhauser and the City’s Traffic Engineer, David Roseman to attend to answer questions.
The meeting will be held in the auditorium and begins at 6 p.m.
