Sir Winston, a luxury private dining and special event yacht, cruised its way into the Long Beach waters, Tuesday, July 24, and officially docked at Rainbow Harbor.
The christening ceremony, complete with the ceremonial breaking of the champagne bottle, was carried out by Dan Salas, Harbor Breeze Cruises owner, and Dee Andrews, District 6 councilmember in front of a group of about 150 guests.
The vessel, which is 132 feet long and 36 feet wide, can fit up to 500 people and includes four bars, eight restrooms and a private bridal cabin.
“From a tourism standpoint, this is a wonderful addition to our downtown waterfront,” said Bob Maguglin, director of public relations for Long Beach Convention and Visitors Bureau. “Over the past years, our waterside activities have grown tremendously and Harbor Breeze, the owners of this new vessel, have been in the forefront of that.”
