Business Improvement District
Business Improvement Districts promote and market commercial areas of the City. Funds are generated through assessment of area businesses and property owners that are located within the BID boundaries. Business BID assessments are in addition to the City business license fee and are billed concurrently. Business BID assessment fees are collected by the City, and property BID assessments are collected by the County Assessor but all assessment revenue is passed directly to each BID for program implementation.
There are ten BIDs in nine areas within the City, and fees vary by BID.
