E-Waste

What is E-Waste?  

The term "E-waste" is applied to consumer electronic equipment that is no longer wanted. E-waste can include computers, printers, televisions, VCRs, cell phones, fax machines, stereos, and electronic games. These items may contain lead, copper, other heavy metals or toxic substances that are harmful to humans and wildlife. These items may not be placed in your trash or recycling carts.

Why is it important to dispose of E-Waste properly?

Please properly dispose of E-Waste so that toxic chemicals don’t end up in places where they can harm humans, wildlife, or the environment.
