Councilman Dee Andrews Announces the Sixth District Free Family Summer Events
As the summer sun heats up, Sixth District Councilman Dee Andrews announces the Sixth District Free Family Summer Events in Long Beach. The events start in July and runs through to September. "I hope everyone will take advantage of these free family events. They are loads of fun and will help keep the family bond strong. Strong families mean strong communities", said Councilman Andrews.



Families across Long Beach look forward to the summertime and to the 6th District's wholesome activities for all ages. The free events are as follows:

Juneteenth Celebration, 11:00 am to 3:00 pm, Saturday, June 14th, at Martin Luther King, Jr. Park, 1950 Lemon Avenue, Long Beach, CA

Free Movie in the Park
The Lego Movie, Wednesday, July 16th, starts at dusk, Ernest S. McBride Park, 1550 Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue, Long Beach, CA

6th District Port Tour, 6pm - 8pm, Thursday, July 17th, seating is limited. RSVP REQUIRED by emailing district6@longbeach.gov
