Small, medium, and large businesses are invited to learn how to access the California Competes Tax Credit during a free workshop on Thursday, December 3, at 10:30 am at the Long Beach Convention Center in the Seaside Ballroom. The Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development (GO-Biz) is hosting the workshop.
“Long Beach is committed to promoting economic development to attract and retain businesses in the City,” said Mayor Robert Garcia. “The GO-Biz Workshop is a very effective tool to provide local businesses with the necessary resources to stay and grow in California.”
Governor Brown signed the California Competes Tax Credit in September of 2014, which allows the credit to offset the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT). The California Competes Tax Program has approximately $75 million in tax credits available for businesses that want to expand in or relocate to California. The next application period begins January 4, 2016 and ends January 25, 2016.
Come and learn how your business can apply for millions in available tax credits. The workshop is free and open to all businesses. For more information or to RSVP to the workshop, please call 562.570.6403.
