Employees at the Parks, Recreation and Marine Administration Building, 2760 Studebaker Road, are serving the public at alternate sites after their work site suffered significant water damage from the recent storms, and is now being repaired.

  • The public reservation/front counter operations have been moved into the front lobby office area of the nearby El Dorado Senior Center, 2800 Studebaker Road.

  • All phones have been forwarded, allowing staff to be reached at their same office number.

  • All on-line functions and services are working as they should.

  • The building is expected to be reopened in approximately two months.

  • For more information, call 562.570.3100.

The damage and loss of equipment were mitigated by an Employee who noticed the water intrusion when he stopped by the office while it was closed over the rainy weekend. The Employee contacted other staff, who were able to quickly begin responding, thereby lessening the damage and further cost to the City.
