East Broadway Corridor Project (Between Alamitos Ave. and Redondo Ave.)

**Project Update 2/14/19: Crews are finishing up the last of the concrete work on the southside of Broadway between Molino and Redondo. Street paving work will begin in early March and be done in two phases. Phase 1: Cherry to Redondo; Phase 2: Alamitos to Cherry (weather permitting)

**Project Update: All construction will be suspended as of mid-November to accommodate the holiday shopping season. Work will resume in early January.

The East Broadway Corridor Project involves repaving East Broadway from Alamitos Avenue to Redondo Avenue and modification to install parking-protected bike lanes on both sides of the street.  The project includes removing existing pavement and resurfacing the roadway, including various concrete improvements to repair existing sidewalks, curbs, gutters, curb ramps.  On-street parking is generally allowed but is restricted along certain sections of the project site during several time periods of the week. The project site covers approximately 12 acres and is approximately 9,200 feet in length.  The project will remove 14 street trees and will relocate some bus stops amenities along the project corridor.
