Commissioner Morales is a 40-year resident of Long Beach and currently resides with her husband in the 5th Council District.  Prior to serving on the Ethics Commission, she served on the Parks and Recreation Commission and the Pacific Gateway Workforce Development Board of Directors.  Some of her prior community activities include serving on the Boards of the Fair Housing Foundation, Cal Poly Pomona Alumni Association and California State Alumni Council.  Margo retired from Los Angeles County in 2018 following a 34-year career, during which she held administrative positions in six County departments.
