Three anchor tenants have opened and others are soon to follow at the Long Beach Exchange development that’s reshaping Douglas Park.
An official grand opening for LBX as a whole won’t take place until early September, but some of the big name brands are getting an early start, developer Scott Burnham of Newport Beach-based Burnham USA/Burnham-Ward Properties said.
“The big anchors are opening right now, within weeks of one another,” the CEO said, noting that Orchard Supply Hardware was the first to plant roots back in March, around the same time the construction fence around the property was taken down.
