Long Beach Public Service Corps
Aligning with City Council-adopted priorities, including Strategic Vision 2030 and the Grow Long Beach Economic Development Blueprint, the Long Beach Public Service Corps (LBPSC) fosters economic inclusion and expands opportunities for residents so they can develop successful career paths into public service. Through this program, students and recent graduates will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain insights into the inner workings of City departments, and contribute to meaningful projects that positively impact the Long Beach community.
"By partnering with our CSULB and CSUDH, LBPSC will not only create opportunities for our youth but will also strengthen our talent pool by cultivating pathways for the next generation of leaders in local government and civic organizations."
-Mayor Rex Richardson
