Who’s Eligible?

Eligibility is determined during the enrollment process and is based on factors like age, school status, employment barriers, income, and other program requirements. If you qualify, WIOA can help you start a career pathway that leads to immediate employment and long‑term growth.

Many youth use WIOA to complete short‑term training, earn an approved ETPL certification, enter the workforce right away, and later return for additional training or education as their career advances.
