Definition Of Acceptable Waste
"Acceptable Waste" is residential or commercial solid waste that does not contain unprocessible waste.
Definition Of Unprocessible Waste
"Unprocessible Waste" is material which, in the sole judgement of the City, falls into one or more of the following categories:
- Would damage or threaten damage to combustion units or otherwise adversely affect operation of maintenance of SERRF
- Would present a substantial endangerment to the health or safety of the public or SERRF employees
- Could cause any permit requirement or condition to be violated
- Would exceed the materials handling capacity of the combustion feed system
Unprocessible Waste Includes, But Is Not Limited To:
- Explosives
- Pathological or Biological Waste
- Human or Animal Remains
- Motor Waste
- Significant Quantities of Non-Combustible Materials or Demolition Debris
- Waste from Industrial or Manufacturing Processes
