Education & Outreach
Education

In partnership with Long Beach Energy Resources and Long Beach Recycles, Long Beach Water launched an environmental education program for K-8 students. This program supports students and their families by bringing energetic science-based performances into local schools, free of charge. Pre-recorded, theatrical videos provide lessons on natural gas efficiency and safety, water efficiency, and waste reduction throughout the Long Beach area, consistent with the City's climate change action and adaptation initiatives to create a more sustainable, resilient, and climate-prepared community.
