The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) offers numerous options for individuals and families without health insurance. It introduces new regulations designed to extend health coverage to those who were previously ineligible. Additionally, California's Medi-Cal program has undergone substantial changes, expanding coverage to a larger population. The Long Beach Department of Health and Human Services provides support for enrolling in various health insurance programs, including Medi-Cal, Covered CA, and the Kaiser Community Health Care Program. Our Navigators can efficiently assess your eligibility for these programs over the phone and simplifying the enrollment process for you.

For enrollment assistance, please bring the following:
- Government-issued identification (Driver's License, ID Cards, or Military ID)
- Resident Alien Card (Green Card), if applicable
- Social Security Cards or numbers
- Paystubs and/or latest tax records
- Proof of pregnancy, if applicable
