Home Improvement Expo
The Community Development Department is bringing back its popular Home Improvement Expo during National Home Improvement Month. Long Beach residents can connect with local experts in remodeling, ADUs, window upgrades, solar installation, sustainable gardening and other topics. City staff will answer questions about permitting, inspections, code enforcement and more. The day also will include giveaways and family-friendly activities, including a seed-planting project for kids — all for free.

- Where: Whaley Park (5620 Atherton St.)

This year's exhibitor list includes architects, contractors, landscape designers, finished carpentry expert, garage-floor coatings specialist, roofer, paint consultants and more.
