The purpose of the public hearing will be to receive public comments on the Pathways to Removing Obstacles (PRO Housing) Application. PRO Housing is a competitive grant program funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and is intended to identify and remove barriers to affordable housing production and preservation. The proposed activities include housing development in high-resource areas through new construction, acquisition, and rehabilitation of existing multifamily units as well as providing funding to the Community Land Trust program for a combined total amount of $7,000,000.
