The City of Long Beach Department of Community Development (City) announces the release of this Notice of Property Availability (NOPA) for the Maine Avenue Senior Apartments, an affordable housing development located at 1044 Maine Avenue, Long Beach, CA. The City is seeking an established Community Land Trust with a demonstrated commitment to long-term affordability and community stewardship to acquire the 11-unit, City-owned property and maintain operations. This opportunity is intended to address the housing needs of extremely low- to very low-income senior households. The City’s preference is to select a Community Land Trust that has demonstrated experience and the capacity to implement a project consistent with the City’s adopted plans, policies, and affordability restrictions. This NOPA is not a funding opportunity. Applications must be submitted by 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 20, 2025.
