City Partners with XeroHome™ to Launch Home Energy Advisor Portal

XeroHome News Card

Through funding from Southern California Edison (SCE) and in partnership with the City, XeroHome developed an online dashboard as a free tool for single-family homeowners to get a customized plan for making their homes more energy efficient.

Home improvement recommendations can range from water heater changeouts to solar installations, with information on climate benefits, estimated costs and available rebates, making it a useful tool for homeowners to learn from and apply any solution that best meets their own unique needs.

Home upgrades are subject to the City of Long Beach's permitting process. Homeowners and contractors can apply for permits by visiting our Permit Center or calling 562.570.PMIT (7648).

If your home is located within a historic district, you may need approval from Historic Preservation before proceeding with certain upgrades. To begin the permitting process, please email HistoricPreservation@longbeach.gov or call 562.570.6195.
