Architect: Morgan Walls and Clements
Built by an investment company for a store, it was Famous Department Store for many years. It is one of the City’s finest Art Deco buildings. Morgan Walls and Clements were eminent Los Angeles architects who constructed many landmark buildings. Today the ground floor is used for retail by Rite-Aid; the upper floors for storage. The ground floor has been altered but the upper floors are intact.
