The oldest remaining fire station in the City was originally constructed of brick with a tall stepped gable. The gable has been altered and the brick stuccoed. No longer in service for firefighters, today it is the Long Beach Firefighter’s Museum, with a superb collection of antique fire engines restored by the Long Beach Firefighters Historical Society. It also contains historical photographs and other firefighting memorabilia.
