Builder: Charles Libka
This small house, only 650 sq. ft., was built by master craftsman Charles Libka, a professional plasterer. Architecturally designed in the Mission Revival/Craftsman style, the exterior stucco is encrusted with crushed abalone shells. This textured, glittering surface is a unique personal expression of the builder/craftsman, and a delightful work of folk art.
