The Security Trust and Savings Bank of Los Angeles established its Long Beach headquarters in this Renaissance Revival bank and highrise office building. Along with the F&M Bank/office tower and the Pacific Southwest Building, the boom of the 'twenties resulted in highrise office towers downtown. Like the Pacific Southwest Building, the body cladding is red brick with light marble and terra cotta decorative accents. The ground floor exterior has two-story marble Corinthian columns and pilasters. The office lady is original and in excellent condition, with white marble and carved relief ornament. The original two-story banking hall today houses a restaurant.
