Project Plan Submittal and Review Service

The Development Permit Center has modified the plan submittal process to facilitate the email submission of construction projects for Building, Planning, Fire, Electrical, Plumbing, Mechanical, and Health plan reviews. For other agencies such as Public Works, Water Department, Energy Resources Department, applicants will need to submit their construction projects to them separately for their review.

In-person Over-the-Counter Plan Review Service is available for minor construction projects. The type of minor construction projects that qualify for this service are minor additions or alterations to single-family dwellings, minor alterations to multi-family dwellings, minor tenant improvements or alterations to non-residential buildings with office or retail uses, or minor addition or alterations to fire sprinklers, alarms and/or hoods as determined by plan review staff.  Please refer to Information Bulletin IB-002 Over-the-Counter Plan Check Service for examples of minor construction projects that may qualify for this service and the applicable agencies involved with plan checking.
