This 95-unit building belongs to the group of 'twenties highrise residential buildings constructed alongside the ocean shore as an "own-your-own," the condominium of its day. Its balconies, bay windows and height maximize the advantages of a seaside location. Originally, the ocean was closer to Ocean Boulevard, so that this building was virtually alongside the beach. Its interior lobby contains architectural features such as a Batchelder tile fireplace, tall octagonal columns and decorative crown moldings.
