What is Household Hazardous Waste (HHW)?

Leftover household products that can catch fire, react, or explode under certain conditions, or that are corrosive or toxic. These items may not be placed in your trash or recycling carts. 


Why is it important to dispose of HHW properly?

Please properly dispose of HHW so that toxic chemicals don’t end up in places where they can harm humans, wildlife, or the environment.
