WHY CHOOSE TO REUSE?

You'll reduce waste.

Plastic and Paper-based single-use food service ware can’t be recycled curbside. Choosing reusables reduces the waste stream by eliminating the need for single-use products.

You’ll protect your health.

Choosing reusables minimizes the exposure to harmful chemicals that could be found in single-use products.

You (and businesses) can save money.

You can save money; some businesses offer a discount when you bring your own reusable cup or container. 

Businesses can also save money; when you bring your own cup or container, that is one less disposable cup or container that the business uses which could add up! 


HOW TO GET INVOLVED

LB Reuses, in collaboration with businesses in Long Beach, aims to make throw-away go away. Our mission is to reduce single-use plastic and overall waste through engagement, advocacy, and collaboration to activate reuse initiatives.

Current LB Reuses collaborators include community members, Algalita, BYO Long Beach, Ethikli, LB Recycles, and Upstream.
