Media Relations

Members of the press are asked to contact Long Beach Airport Public Affairs before entering the airport for safety reasons. Public Affairs will escort media to appropriate locations for media trucks or interviews. LGB Airport asks that media not disrupt airport operations or passenger access throughout the terminal area. All journalists must display a valid press ID.

In the event of an incident, a media staging area will be established. Press will be notified via telephone, e-mail, and/or this site of the location of the staging area.

Long Beach Airport Public Affairs office can be reached M-F 7:30-4:30 PST at (562) 570-2678.

Airport Press Releases are available via the City of Long Beach site: http://www.longbeach.gov/city-press-release-archive/
