“A Flight to History” Centennial Commemoration Mural

Long Beach Airport is commemorating its centennial year with the addition of a new public art installation. The large vinyl mural, "A Flight to History," by renowned Southern California-based artist Marconi, is now on display on the façade of one of the Airport’s parking structures. Smaller works by five runner-up artists will be displayed in a special post-security temporary exhibit planned for the North and South Concourses.

 

Able ARTS Work: CORE 2021

CORE 2021 is a collaborative body of work between local artists of all abilities and ABLE ARTS Work resident artists. The collection highlights the unique bonds formed through the artistic process.

Long Beach Airport Pandemic Art Exhibit - Essential Workers

We Got This: Art in the Time of the Pandemic Exhibit

A pandemic-themed art exhibition by local artists who are women, commissioned by a partnership between Long Beach Airport and the Arts Council for Long Beach, reflects uplifting and hopeful messages related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

 

 

Bob Senske Exhibit

The work of celebrated local artist, Robert Senske, Jr. is on display at various locations at Long Beach Airport. A fourth generation native of the city, Senske has been publishing his original acrylic paintings of Long Beach waterfront for over 35 years.
