Long Beach Airport's Festival of Flight Returns on
Saturday, October 25, 2025!
Thousands of attendees are expected at the Airport’s signature annual event, a celebration of Long Beach’s rich aviation history and the local community. The popular free event returns for 2025 with aircraft on static display, live music, activities for kids, food and beer for purchase, and more!
Festival of Flight is free and open to the public between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the west end of the airfield. Attendees are advised to bring water, wear sensible shoes and be prepared to be outdoors, rain or shine. Coolers will not be allowed, and bags will be subject to search. Service animals will be permitted, but pets will not.

- The event will be held on the west end of the airfield, with more details to come closer to Festival of Flight 2025.
- Exact Address: LGB Airfield - Taxiway E, 3590 E. Wardlow Road, Long Beach, CA 90807
- Do not put “Long Beach Airport” into your maps, or you will end up on the wrong side of the airport.
Limited free parking will be available at the corner of East Wardlow Road and Globemaster Way, near the event entrance. Parking opens at 8 a.m. Guests are encouraged to consider alternate transportation options such as cycling, carpooling, ride-sharing, or public transit. Free valet bike parking will also be available near the entrance.
Overflow parking will be provided at 4901 Airport Plaza Drive, Long Beach, CA 90815, with complimentary shuttle service to the event. (Please note: entry is on Clark Avenue.)

- Festival of Flight is a free community event; attendees do not need a ticket to enter the event.
- Attendees may bring food and non-alcoholic beverages to the event. Attendees will not be permitted to bring alcohol into the venue. Food, beverages and beer will be available for purchase.
- Coolers will not be allowed, and bags will be subject to search.
- Service animals will be permitted, but pets will not. Keep in mind that the pavement on the airfield may get too hot to walk a dog safely.
- We’re expecting more than 25 aircraft on display, including the iconic Goodyear Blimp, the VX-31 Search and Rescue “Dust Devils” helicopter crew, and world-class aerobatics pilot Anthony Oshinuga in his Pitts Special! All aircraft are tentative and subject to change.
