Grab & Go Launches at BJK Main Library, Bay Shore, Mark Twain, and Michelle Obama Neighborhood Libraries

Beginning Tuesday, May 18, 2021, these four library locations will open to the public for visits up to 30 minutes long. The following select services will be available:
- Book stacks open for browsing
- Checkouts of books and other materials
- New library cards
- 30-minute computer sessions
- Printing and copying
- Convenience electrical outlets for device charging
Seating areas and smaller enclosed spaces, including Family Learning Centers and study and community rooms, will not open at this time.
Our contactless pickup service LBPL To-Go will remain available at seven locations, including BJK Main Library, Bay Shore, El Dorado, Harte, Los Altos, Mark Twain, and Michelle Obama Neighborhood Libraries.
Effective May 18th hours for both Grab & Go and LBPL To-Go are as follows:
- Tuesdays 12PM – 7PM (BJK Main Library open until 8PM)
- Wednesdays 12PM – 6PM
- Thursdays 12PM – 7PM
- Fridays 10AM – 5PM
- Saturdays 10AM – 5PM
- Sundays CLOSED
- Mondays CLOSED
Return of checked out materials, excluding Tech To-Go Chromebooks and wireless hotspots, can be made in outdoor book returns at any of our 12 library locations.
