Start the school year out right and check out the Digital Library. Take a closer look at Opposing Viewpoints, Archives Unbound, Calisphere, encyclopedias, and other resources for your reports, debates, and term papers.

Opposing Viewpoints is the ideal resource for any debater and will provide a wealth of credible information for any research topic. With hundreds of social topics and over one thousand curated publications including radio and television broadcasts, journal articles, websites, and essays written by experts in the field, the pros and cons of every subject is all in one place.

Digitized primary source collections of interest to students are available through Archives Unbound, Calisphere, and other resources in the Digital Library. Archives Unbound groups resources together by topic, making it easy to find useful documents. Calisphere draws on the incredible collections found at the various campuses of the University of California and other California institutions and organizations. Primary sources are just a few clicks away when you use the Digital Library.

Opposing Viewpoints, Archives Unbound, Calisphere, and others all can be found in the Digital Library and are free to use on any computer or mobile device inside or outside the libraries. A Long Beach Public Library card is required for some resources. Don’t have a LBPL card? It is easy to get one.
