LBPL agregó recientemente el recurso de libros electrónicos en español, MakeMake, a la Biblioteca digital. MakeMake es conocido por sus libros electrónicos latinoamericanos. Debido a su colaboración con editores y autores, MakeMake ofrece cientos de libros electrónicos exclusivos en español para niños de 2 a 8 años y mayores. Los libros electrónicos se leen a través de un navegador, por lo que no es necesario descargar una aplicación y no hay listas de espera para ninguno de los títulos. Todos los libros están disponibles todo el tiempo.
LBPL ahora ofrece cuatro recursos de libros electrónicos en español para niños y adultos. Los otros tres son OverDrive, que también ofrece revistas en español; enki, la plataforma estatal de libros electrónicos que tampoco tiene listas de espera; y TumbleBookLibrary, con juegos e interactivos libros ilustrados.
MakeMake y los otros libros electrónicos se pueden encontrar en la Biblioteca digital y son de uso gratuito en cualquier computadora o dispositivo móvil dentro o fuera de las bibliotecas. ¿No tienes una tarjeta LBPL? Es fácil conseguir una.
LBPL recently added the Spanish language eBook resource MakeMake (Ma-KAY Ma-KAY) to the Digital Library. MakeMake is known for their Mexican and Central and South American eBooks. By working closely with publishers and authors, MakeMake is able to exclusively offer hundreds of ebooks in Spanish for children ages 2-8 and others. The eBooks are read through a browser, so no need to download another app and there are no wait lists for any of the titles. All the books are available all the time.
LBPL now offers four Spanish language eBook resources for children and adults. The other three are OverDrive, which offers magazines in Spanish, as well; enki, the statewide Ebook platform that also has no wait lists; and TumbleBookLibrary, with its interactive picture books and games.
MakeMake and the other eBooks can be found in the Digital Library and are free to use on any computer or mobile device inside or outside the libraries. Don’t have a LBPL card? It is easy to get one.
