LBPL Book Clubs
Please join us for the Miller Room's monthly book club for adults! We are reading a rotating selection of fiction and non-fiction books and short stories relating to various topics on the arts/performing arts, Asian heritage and culture, libraries and special collections, and our local Long Beach/Southern California area history.
This book club is currently meeting online via Zoom and is limited to a maximum of 10 to 12 people per meeting, so pre-registration/RSVPs are necessary. The Bay Shore Book Club meets the third Thursday of the month from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM in the Community Room. This group has been meeting for over 20 years, and members take turns choosing titles and hosting the discussion. They read everything from classics to contemporary fiction, from historical family sagas to hard-boiled detective dramas to sci-fi space operas. New members always welcome!
