City Works to Protect People Experiencing Homelessness from COVID-19 3/15/2020 The City of Long Beach is taking new measures to protect people experiencing homelessness, and those who provide services to them, from the ongoing spread of COVID-19, otherwise known as coronavirus disease.

Protect Yourself Against the Flu 9/23/2016 The Health Department will be holding annual walk-in flu clinics beginning October 19, 2017.  Everyone over the age of six months is encouraged to get a flu shot.  Parents are encouraged to bring their children's immunization records. Some children will require two doses of the vaccine, given one-month apart.
