Fall 2025 Leeway Sailing Classes

GENERAL INFORMATION

Leeway Sailing Center offers lessons in sailing. All classes require registration at least 48 hours in advance either online or at the Parks, Recreation and Marine Registration Office. Registrations are not accepted at the facility. LEEWAY CLOSED SATURDAY, AUGUST 30– MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 (LABOR DAY HOLIDAY), NOVEMBER 4 (ELECTION DAY), THURSDAY & FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 27-28 (THANKSGIVING).

BEGINNING JUNIOR SAILING (8’ BOATS)       

A beginning sailing class designed to introduce children to the exciting sport of dinghy sailing. No previous experience is necessary. All equipment is provided. Ages: 8 years old and up. Class fee: $120.
