PICKLEBALL Fall 2025 Classes

All participants MUST register online at LBParks.org; click on the LB RecConnect link then follow directions, or in-person at the front desk of the Long Beach Parks, Recreation, and Marine Department building at 2760 N. Studebaker Road. If registering in-person at the LB PRM Department building, please use the registration form at the bottom of this page. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR ALL PICKLEBALL CLASSES! Students should wear pickleball court appropriate tennis shoes. Please, NO black-soled shoes allowed. If minimum enrollment is not met, classes may be combined or cancelled.

YOUTH

Students must possess the following skills before registering: Beginner (Beg) - no experience required; Advanced Beginner (AdvBeg) - knowledge of basic shots, grips, and ready positions; Intermediate (Int) - rules of the game, strategy, shot-making, and serving. The instructor will determine if you are in the correct level in the first class. Please bring your own pickleball paddle to the classes; Billie Jean King Tennis & Pickleball Center does have paddles available to demo, if needed. Ages: 12-15 years old. Class fee: $155. Group Lessons: Min 4/Max 8; 10 WEEKS

ADULT GROUP CLASSES         

Beginners (Beg) learn the basic strokes and grips. Advanced Beginners (AdvBeg) continue improvement of basic strokes, grips, and strategy. Intermediate (Int) players work on perfecting strategy, shot-making, and overall knowledge of the game. Advanced (Adv) players play liveball points and compete while further perfecting strategy and shot making. The instructor will determine if you are in the correct level in the first class. Please bring your own pickleball paddle to the classes; Billie Jean King and El Dorado Tennis & Pickleball Center have paddles available to demo, if needed. Ages: 16 years old and up. Class fee: $155. Group Lessons: Min 4/Max 8; 10 WEEKS.
