The previous site of the Queen Mary Open, this facility is now home to the $160,0000 Long Beach Open, considered one of the best non-PGA Tour professional events in the United States. A magnificent 18-hole layout, El Dorado is truly a "player's course," due to its expansive layout, hundreds of mature trees and numerous water hazards.

Extensive practice facilities and full service restaurant are available at El Dorado. The restaurant can accommodate up to 150 people for special occasions or meetings. For those seeking a quick and fun alternative, this facility offers an extremely enjoyable 18-hole round of par-3 golf. With holes ranging from 85 to 140 yards, two water hazards and numerous bunkers, this course will test the skills of the most seasoned player, as well as being exceptionally enjoyable for the beginner. This fully lighted course also boasts of an excellent practice range, full size chipping and putting greens, a full service restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and a professionally staffed pro shop. Tiger Woods played his first round of golf at Heartwell at age 3.

Located among beautiful rolling hills, Recreation Park was constructed in 1910 as the original site of The Virginia Country Club. When land in North Long Beach was purchased and Virginia CC moved, the City took over the lease and the operation of the course, eventually purchasing the land outright and changing the name of the course to Recreation Park GC. "The Park" is one of the busiest golf courses in the nation, provides a night lighted driving range, practice greens, pro shop, a full service restaurant for breakfast and lunch, and also banquet facilities for up to 150 people. Located directly across 7th Street from the renowned 18-hole course, this 9-hole executive facility affords guests a selection of shots and settings, which range from rolling hills to views of the Colorado Lagoon. A major renovation to the north side of the course which included enlarging the 1st green, adding or renovating five bunkers, installing new cart paths and 130 new trees and refurbishing the Pro Shop and Cafe', was completed in the summer of 2009. Directly across Lakewood Blvd. from the Long Beach Airport, this course was completely renovated in 2004 with Bermuda Grass fairways and Bent Grass greens, and was acknowledged by CERTIS as the "Renovation of the Year". Several water hazards and numerous bunkers await your errant shots, while excellent fairways and greens reward your good play. This 18-hole course is a very enjoyable experience for all skill levels.
