Finance and Facilities Administrator

Leslie Bruce was appointed as the Financial Bureau
Administrator for the Long Beach Police Department in
2019.

Administrator Bruce joined the Department in 2017 as
an Assistant Administrative Analyst II for the Records
division, supporting the Fleet Services section. She later
promoted to the classification of Administrative Analyst
II, remaining in the Administration Bureau, where she
managed the procurement, implementation, training,
and operational support for the Department’s body
worn camera pilot program in 2018.

Prior to her appointment, Administrator Bruce served
as an Administrative Analyst III for the Financial Bureau, leading the Department’s procurement and payment operations, vendor contracts, and policy and procedure trainings.

Administrator Bruce holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography from California State University, Dominguez Hills and is a member of the Government Financial Officers Association.
