Port Police Division Commander

Commander Stephanie Hall began her career with the Long Beach Police Department as an officer in 2002. She promoted to sergeant in 2015, to lieutenant in 2021, and to commander in 2022.

Commander Hall has worked an array of assignments throughout her time with the LBPD including Patrol, Field Training Officer, Vice Investigations, and the Drug Investigation Section. As an Administrative Sergeant, she was assigned to the Patrol Bureau and Internal Affairs.

Commander Hall was most recently assigned to the Special Enforcement Section as a Lieutenant where she oversaw SWAT, Air Support Unit, K-9 Unit, and Motors. She is the first woman in LBPD history to hold this rank in the Special Enforcement Section.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from California State University, Long Beach. Commander Hall is a graduate of the Sherman Block Leadership Institute and is also a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
