On Dec. 21, 2024, at-risk missing person Dana D. Petitt was located safe and unharmed by LBPD officers in the city of Torrance.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help locating a 57-year-old at-risk missing person, Dana D. Petitt, who was last seen on Dec. 21, 2024, at approximately 12:00 a.m.
Petitt was last seen leaving her residence near the 2200 block of Pine Avenue. Her destination is unknown and has walked away in the past. She is on foot and her cell phone is turned off. She does not have a tracking device on her person and an unknown amount of cash.
At-risk missing person Dana D. Petitt is described as follows:
Age: 57-years-old
Gender: Female
Race: Black
Height: 5’4”
Weight: 200 lbs
Hair: Black
Eyes: Brown
Clothing: Dark glasses, grey headband, white/beige cardigan, dark shirt, black sweatpants, beige Crocs shoes.
Scars/ Marks/ Tattoos: None.
Medical Alerts: Has medical conditions.
