On June 1, 2026, at-risk missing person Luther Washington was located by LAPD officers in the city of Los Angeles and reunited with family.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help locating 83-year-old at-risk missing person Luther Washington.
Washington was last seen on June 1, 2026, at approximately 11 a.m., in the 6400 block of Atlantic Avenue in Long Beach. He is driving a black, 4-door Toyota Avalon, license plate F457B0. He does not have a cell phone or other means of tracking.
