On Jan. 29, 2026, at-risk missing person Tanielu "Paul" Kuresa was located safe and unharmed in the City of Long Beach.

The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 66-year-old at-risk missing person Tanielu "Paul" Kuresa. Tanielu "Paul" Kuresa was last seen on Jan. 28, 2026, at approximately 8 a.m. at his residence located in the 1600 block of Sherman Place in Long Beach, CA. Kuresa is on foot and has no cell phone or other tracking device. Kuresa has medical condition(s) and may become disoriented.
At-risk missing person Tanielu "Paul" Kuresa is described as follows:
Age: 66
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown
Height: 5'11"
Weight: 250
Gender: Male
Clothing: White shirt or black V-neck shirt, black sweat pants, green Crocs.
Possible Destination: Unknown
Jewelry: None
Scars/Marks/Tattoos: "Samoa" tattoo on his left upper arm.
Medical Alerts: Has a medical condition(s) and may become disoriented.
