Update 6/25/25 at 8:30 p.m.:
On June 25, 2025, at-risk missing persons Tri Ung and Christopher Yin were located safe and unharmed in the City of La Habra.
Original News Release 6/25/25 at 4:15 p.m.:
The Long Beach Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating Tri Ung, a 69-year-old at-risk missing person, and Christopher Yin, a 2-year-old at-risk missing person. They were last seen on June 25, 2025, at approximately 12:30 p.m.
On June 25, 2025 at approximately 12:30 p.m. Missing Person Ung was last seen sitting in his white Lexus SUV (CA Lic #8AOT629) with his grandson Missing Person Yin. Ung was waiting in the SUV as his family shopped in the 3700 block of South Street. When the family returned to vehicle, both missing persons and the vehicle were gone. Their destination is unknown, Ung does not have a cell phone, nor any tracking device, and is new to the area.
