The Long Beach Police Department celebrated its 54th Annual Police Awards Ceremony yesterday where LBPD personnel and Long Beach community members were honored for their exceptional dedication and commitment to service.
"The men and women of the Long Beach Police Department demonstrate an exemplary commitment to the values of our organization - respect, compassion, service, integrity, and accountability," said Chief of Police Wally Hebeish. "I am honored to recognize LBPD personnel and community partners who have gone above and beyond in service to others. From small acts of kindness to moments of heroism and a commitment to justice, I commend and thank you for your unwavering dedication to keeping our community safe."
