Collision Investigation detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify the driver and vehicle involved in a hit-and-run traffic collision that occurred on March 26, 2025 near Del Amo Boulevard and Brayton Avenue.
The preliminary investigation indicates that on March 26, 2025 at approximately 9:07 a.m., a dark-colored Toyota pickup truck was traveling westbound on Del Amo Boulevard when it collided with a silver Hyundai passenger vehicle. Following the collision, the driver of the truck exited the vehicle, examined the damage, then returned to his vehicle and drove away, northbound on Brayton Avenue.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel transported the driver of the Hyundai to a local hospital with moderate, non-life-threatening injuries.

Gender: Male
Race: White or Hispanic
Hair: Brown hair and beard
Weight: Heavy set
Clothing: Black hooded sweatshirt, multi-colored pajama pants, light-colored “Croc” style shoes
Vehicle Description: A dark-colored Toyota pickup truck
