On December 10, 2014, the Long Beach Police North Division Directed Enforcement Team, in cooperation with the California State Parole Fugitive Apprehension Team, focused their combined efforts to reduce crime this holiday season.
The operation resulted in:
Several were arrested for parole violations, one had outstanding warrants for burglary and auto theft, one had three felony warrants for burglary, one was in violation of a gang injunction, one was in possession of Methamphetamine while on probation, one was arrested in possession of a stolen vehicle, and one possessed a handgun.
A man was arrested for felony forgery. Working on a tip, officers located a suspect who was in possession of multiple forged money orders and checks with face values in the $1000’s.
