On Feb. 18, 2025 at approximately 11:17 p.m., officers were dispatched to the intersection of Anaheim Street and Roycroft Avenue regarding an injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
When officers arrived on scene, they discovered a male adult pedestrian in the westbound lanes of Anaheim Street. Long Beach Fire Department personnel responded and determined the pedestrian to be deceased at the scene.

The pedestrian is only being identified as an adult male, pending notification of next of kin by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
